✨行為藝術家要用什麼行為，來給出他們的〈今年〉？✨

今年，我們因霜田誠二（Shimoda Seiji）而相聚。從掀牆 space 的工作坊、大家在指令下「愚蠢地走路」、晚上的群體上台、到霜田仰天的「紅臉」行為，像是一條被重新點亮的線，把我們再一次牽在一起。後來的「身後現場」，香港藝術家彭靖到來，我們第一次嘗試「短行為」。麗萍以那一根稍縱即逝的火柴做示範，像是在黑暗中劃開一條能讓人思考的光。⠀

今年最深刻的回音，來自冉而山。在部落的語境裡，我們聽到一句話：「與其說是表演，你們做的，其實比較像儀式。」這句話在心裡久久不散。於是，在霜田誠二所提出的題目「自我的儀式」中，我們看見許多身體與自然交融的瞬間，令人動容。臨近年底，我們想以另一種方式告別這一年。如果跨年倒數是一種集體儀式，那麼…行為藝術家要用什麼行為，來給出他們的〈今年〉？八位行為藝術家，以行為見證今年，也讓今年見證我們。⠀

What actions can performance artists use to give their “This Year”?
This year, we gathered because of Shimoda Seiji (霜田誠二). From workshops at Xianqiang Space, to “walking foolishly” under instruction, and group performances at night, Shimoda Seiji’s skyward “red-face” actions reconnected us like a line reignited. Later, at The Scene Behind, Hong Kong artist Peng Jing joined us, and we tried “short actions” for the first time. LiPing demonstrated with a fleeting matchstick, creating a small line of light in the darkness that encouraged reflection. The most profound echo this year came from Ran Ershan. In his community context, we heard: “Rather than performance, what you do is more like ritual.” This idea lingered with us. Through the theme proposed by Shimoda Seiji, “Rituals of the Self,” we witnessed moments where bodies intertwined with nature, moving us deeply.

As the year draws to a close, we want to bid farewell differently. If the New Year countdown is a collective ritual, what actions can performance artists use to give their “This Year”? Eight performance artists bear witness to this year through action — and allow this year to witness us.We invite you — not just to watch an evening of performance, but to join us in offering “This Year” together.

What actions can performance artists use to give their “This Year”?
